Extension and Refurbishment, Worcestershire
This is a Victorian semi-detached cottage that offered opportunity for modernisation.
To accommodate our client's needs, we built a rear extension to create an open and spacious living area on the ground floor.
We carefully selected a new brick that closely resembled the existing bricks to maintain the cottage's classic charm and added minimal brick detailing to the elevations, in keeping with the original structure.
To achieve a seamless transition between the old and new sections, we used reclaimed roof tiles, adding character and charm to the property.
Although our client opted not to use reclaimed bricks due to the cost, our choice of materials resulted in a successful and budget-friendly project.
The refurbished cottage now offers a perfect balance of modern living and traditional aesthetics, making it a unique and stylish residence.
